Dear friends,
It has been a long time since I have talked to you about any particular topic. So let us start afresh.
I have been pretty busy lately, so almost stopped posting in my blogs. Now trying to resume the habit of writing daily. I am planning to post here twice a week. Lets see how the plan works :)
Now, coming back to the topic of this post. In September I went to Kolkata. Met many relatives. Attended a family function. We also had a Satyanarayan Puja at home.
While going to meet our uncle we crossed the Ganges. Beautiful as always, Ma Ganga.
I visited Lokenath Temple at Tegharia.
Also I stopped at a Krishna Temple while coming back from Lokenath Temple. This is the Krishna idol from the temple.
We watched the movie Gotro during my stay in Kolkata. It was a nice movie, dealing with a socially relevant topic.
Going to Kolkata always means coming back with supplies for the whole year of many kitchen items like Shukto Masala, Shahi Garam Masala, Posto, Shorshe Bata Powder, Gaowa Ghee and many more such things.
I also witnessed continuous rain for two days in Kolkata, which was a nice change from the weather pattern of Rajasthan. Mostly stayed at home during those two days.
Thus ended my Kolkata visit for this time. After coming back to my house, we became busy with Durga Puja, so I am a bit late is posting this update.
With lots of love
Jai Shri Krishna.
