In a Blissful State!!

Dear Friends, I am very Happy since last few days, so wanted to share it with all of you.

Firstly, My favourite Geeta Episodes of Ramanand Sagar's 'Shri Krishna' TV Serial, were Uploaded to YouTube by someone, they are so Rich in Content! I am very Happy to find the whole series on YouTube suddenly...

(For the complete entry read from here:

Then I got some the songs of the Bengali Movie 'Boidurjo Rahasya' in YouTube. Those are mainly Devotional songs on Shri Krishna, and 'Boidurjo Rahasya' is one of my all time favourite movies!!

Thirdly, I got the song 'HareKrishna naam dilo priyo Balaraam' in YouTube only the day before yesterday!!! I have been searching for this song since last one year, but could not find it! Ok, the original song is by Sandhya Mukhopadhyay, I could not find that version, but this one is also very good. Moreover, I got the Lyrics, which are very very Sweet...

And lastly, I remembered about the song 'Aaji e probhaate, tomari chorone' from the movie 'Gurudokshina' and found that one also in Youube! It is such a refreshing song appreciating Lord's Blessing in each moment of our life!

Recently, we went to Akshardham Temple in Delhi. Smile Wanted to tell you all about the visit :-

The garden is lined with bronze sculptures of contributors to India's culture and history. These sculptures include children, women, national figures, freedom fighters, and warriors of India.")

Happy Janmashtami: My favourite Actors who acted in the Role of Krishna-3:- Nitish Bharadwaj

Nitish Bharadwaj, who just made the role of Krishna like a Real-Life Character! I was immensely influenced by him during my childhood days! So always thought him as Krishna after watching Mahabharat. He was the Ultimate One in my eyes... I became interested to know about Lord Krishna only after watching his performance in Mahabharat. Even when I started my Blog-'Purnavataar', it was his picture only that came to my mind while thinking about the an image to include in the heading. My interest about Krishna was completely indebted to his performance in the role of the Lord. Wonderful work throughout the whole series, specially Shantidoot episode and most importantly in all the Geeta episodes!

Here I am ending the last part of my posts on the actors playing the role of Shri Krishna. Again I am stating that the headings of my posts are not any ranking or any special liking for any particular actor, it is just that I couldn't fit all the pictures and information in a single post, so decided to divide the whole Content into three posts.

Happy Janmashtami: My favourite Actors who acted in the Role of Krishna-2:- Sarvadaman Banerjee

Continuing with my series on Actors playing the role of Shri Krishna, now, in this 2nd part, I will write about Sarvadaman Banerjee. He acted in the role of Krishna in Ramanand Sagar's Shri Krishna TV Serial. Really a Great Work! I loved to watch the Geeta Episodes delivered by him! In the initial episodes it was difficult for me to consider S D Banerjee as Krishna because I was a great fan of Nitish Bharadwaj's acting in Mahabharat. But gradually, as 'Shri Krishna' progressed, and I followed it regularly, I started loving the performance of S D Banerjee. He has delivered all the scenes with Great Sincerity and Great Emotion!!! As we think about the Emotional and Blissful element in the Lord- that have been brought forth by S D Banerjee in a Nice Way! In comparison to earlier episodes, I loved his performance more in all the later episodes of the serial (much much more than the initial episodes ). I feel, gradually he got control over the role of the Lord after a few episodes and after that delivered all the dialogues of Shri Krishna with such Ease that I always feel blessed whenever I watch him on screen.

Another point i want to mention here- Sarvadaman Banerejee has done an Excellent performance in a Sanskrit movie based on the life of the great sage Adi Shankaracharya(Movie has the same name)... there he is just Awesome!!! I loved his performance! The Knowledge and the Devotion- both have been present in him throughout the whole film... Indeed a great film to watch!

His Dedication towards his work makes his works (films/serial) truly worth watching!

Happy Janmashtami: My favourite Actors who acted in the Role of Krishna-1

On this auspicious day of Janmashtami, I decided to write about the actors who played the role of Krishna on-screen and Influenced me a lot. But sadly, could not include all the pictures and informations in single post, so now I am posting the first part here. (The numbers in the heading are not any ranking or any partiucular order, they are a part of the whole series of three posts, which is the reason of the inclusion of the number in the heading)

Now, I am starting with Swapnil Joshi. He acted in the role of young Krishna in Ramanand Sagar's Shri Krishna Serial. He has done such a nice work, that he just took the hearts of all the fans with him... His playfulness, his emotions, his philosophical discussions- all are delivered by him in very very Natural Way! I love to see him on screen. All his scenes are full of the Bliss and Love which we relate with the Lord. He has also shown serious acting skill in all the scenes of deep Spiritual discussions. Swapnil has been truly the image of the Lord who is very easy to approach. His performances in Vrindavan, Mathura, Gurukul and Jarasandh, Uddhava Vraj Yatra episodes- all are Great! Truly he has made the young Krishna come alive in front of us by his Wonderful Performance!

Reflections on a Rainy Day

Today it is raining heavily here in Delhi. I was sitting by the window throughout the whole day, watching rain, because there was no electricity:) :). I was, in fact, enjoying the rain. I never loved rain, specially getting drenched in the rain:(. But today, I was at home, so was able to Enjoy the drops failing from the sky.

And suddenly I remembered a scene from a film I watched recently. It was a Sanskrit movie named– Adi Shankaracharya. It is about the great Seer of 8 th century, who made the tough Vedas and Upanishadas easy for us by writing extensive commentaries on them. Later I will try to write about the film in details.

There we have a nice scene, where he says to his disciples that “Shudhhe hridaye, sarvam shuddham” (When the heart is pure, everything else is Pure). (At 2:30 min of the video)

And after that we have some lines from his famous work ‘Bhaja Govindam’ , where he tells us to turn towards God, as that is the only way of our Salvation.
If anyone is interested, Here is the Video of that scene:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ge-uHt9ib1w&feature=related
(It starts from 2:30 min to 4:25 min. Again it from 5:23 min and continues till 6:10 min.)
The following is the portion of Bhaja Govindam covered in the scene:-
sampraapte sannihite kaale
nahi nahi rakshati Dukrijn karane .. (1)

Oh fool! Rules of Grammar will not save you at the time of your death.
angam galitam palitam mundam
dashanavihiinam jatam tundam.
vriddho yaati grihiitvaa dandam
tadapi na muchchatya ashaapindam.. (15)

Strength has left the old man's body; his head has become bald, his gums toothless and leaning on crutches. Even then the attachment is strong and he clings firmly to fruitless desires.
bhaja govindam bhaja govindam
govindam bhaja muudhamate .

Worship Govinda, Worship Govinda, Worship Govinda.
punarapi jananam punarapi maranam
punarapi jananii jathare shayanam.
iha samsaare bahudustaare
kripayaa apaare paahi muraare. (21)

Born again, death again, birth again to stay in the mother's womb ! It is indeed hard to cross this boundless ocean of samsara. Oh Murari ! Redeem me through Thy mercy.

bhajagovindam bhajagovindam
govindam bhaja muudhamate .

Worship Govinda, Worship Govinda, Worship Govinda.

I was So Touched by the messege, that today it just came to my mind while watching the rain and kept on repeating itself. It was Really a nice experience!

And here is the link of the text of Bhaja Govindam:-
http://www.shankaracharya.org/bhaja_govindam.php

I added 2 photos of the Black Clouds of a typical Rainy Day at Delhi (the first one) and at Kolkata (the second one) in today's post. Enjoy:)...

VISIT TO THE SCHOOL WHERE I WORKED FOR 4 YEARS

Recently I went to the school where I worked for nearly 4 years . And I had great fun throughout the whole day. Now I will write about it in detail –

One day when I called up my Principal to wish her on an occasion, she asked me to join them in the annual fete in the coming days. After I left the school (as my husband changed his job), I never went back there. So, this time, I decided to give it a try.

Though it is really far from my house but I started early so that I can have all the fun from the beginning! And it was worth it – TRULY! I met so many students, colleagues, the attendants, the gatekeeper, all the staff – I loved to meet them all. Many of my former students and their parents came to me, they were also very happy to find me after nearly one and half years. Some students went and bought their friends also to meet their “ma’m”. I had Nice time . I received a warm welcome from my Principal and Director Sir, President Sir. Truly – who could have guessed that I would have such a nice time in the school which I have already left! Today as a writing about it – I am re-living that day, and feeling glad again!

I am so grateful to the LORD, that HE has given me such a Day to Enjoy and Appreciate life ! Truly Life is Beautiful! Sometimes you face a sweet moment so unexpectedly that you are totally taken aback by the Intensity of that experience! Living each and every moment in HIS creation is Beautiful!

With Lots of Best Wishes for all .

GITA PRESS , Gorakhpur

HELLO ,

Again I was absent for a long time …these days I am busy in my social networking site posts , discussions and readings on spirituality . today I am posting here to let you all know about the recent developments in my life .

Recently I bought two of my favourite books – Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran and Ramcharit Manas . since last one year I was planning to purchase these books . but recently when we went to book fair , I found the Bengali translations of these two books ! it was like a SURPRISE for me ! I was SO HAPPY to bring those books with me .

Now at first about the books –

Shrimad Bhagwat is about Shri Krishna and other incarnations of Lord Vishnu . it is written by Ved Vyas . it is said that , after completing Mahabharat , he was still feeling incomplete .then he composed Shrimad Bhagwat . it gave him the Bliss which was missing in his previous composition . the focus of this text is the Devotion for the LORD .

Ramcharitmanas – as we all know that it is written by the great Tulsidasji . in it he has sang the glory of LORD RAM .

Both these text are considered as very pious and generates Bhakti Ras in the mind ogf the reader . as I am experiencing the Divine Love of the LORD these days , so decided to read these texts so that I can plunge deep into the ocean of the BLISS through them .

Now I will write about the publisher . Gita Press is a publication which publishes religious/spiritual writings, scriptures – in Different Languages and in Subsidized Prices . you all will be surpised to know the prices of all those famous books ! all the books have nice prints/fonts . another important point is that , the standard of all the translations are also maintained at the same level as the original texts , which is generally very rare to find in translated literature .

Today I dedicate this post of mine to Gita Press who are doing such a great work to help mankind ! I have purchased from them in many previous occasions also – like Bhagwat Gita and a compilation of nine Upanishadas (both in bengali ) . I would request everyone to grab this opportunity ! (i.e.- at least try for once to visit their stalls whenever you find one ) . I am always happy to visit their stalls (be it Delhi Book Fair or New Delhi station) . my best wishes for the team for their future endeavours !

What Am I Doing These Days ?

Well I am watching 3 serials - RAMAYAN , MAHABHARAT , SHRI KRISHNA and writing , reading and discussing about them .

So why am I not posting in my blog ?

Really , I don’t have an answer .
I think , I was trying to post something from the world around me , but now a days I am too much involved in the world of RAM-KAURAV-PANDAV-KRISHNA --- so could not figure out a single topic to post here in last 14 days . indeed a great mistake on my part .

Ok, if not mistake , then we may call it indecisiveness on my part .

I am a great believer of the proverb — Better Late Than Never .
(i.e.— correct it as soon as you find out your fault – surprised ? it is my interpretation …! )

Following that , today I decided to post about the current state of my mind so that no communicate gap remains between me and you ( the readers of my blog ) .

I want to start with the recent KANS VADH episode of SRI KRISHNA serial –
For many days we were witnessing the terror of KANSA , but when KRISHNA killed him , in fact I also felt relaxed as an audience .

ARISTOTLE has said about tragedy that after a tragedy the feelings we undergo can be expressed as –CATHARSIS ( emotional cleansing , audience gets emotionally healed/ cleansed by experiencing the emotions which the principal characters go through .) .

MILTON says at the end of SAMSON AGONISTES –“calm of mind ,all passion spent “(after experiencing the turmoil of feeling , they have achieved tranquility of mind ) .

Truly , this state was achieved in MATHURA RAAJSABHA . In fact the same can be experienced after the battles of RAMAYAN and MAHABHARAT .

Though I can’t remember RAMAYAN very well , but I have seen the last episode of MAHABHARAT recently . Same was the experience in that case also – after all the drama , intrigue , war – when the peace is established in a state there is nothing greater than that .

The epics are a treasure of the lessons handed down to us by our ancestors . It is upto us how much we can learn and use them in our daily life . So I prefer to watch there serials rather than watching mindless daily soaps , most of which have neither any specific aim (conclusive ending ) nor lessons to teach us .

So this is my overall view on serials . I can still write a lot about it (why I love RAMAYAN , MAHABHARAT , SHRI KRISHNA ) , but that I am reserving to post in any future occasion .

With best wishes ,

I HAVE SEEN A PEACOCK

Well, anyone will be surprised to read the heading – Seen A Peacock ? What does that mean ? What is so special about it ? Now I will explain…

Actually from my childhood , I have seen so many pictures of peacock ( I mean who hasn’t ?) , but I have never seen a peacock in front of my eyes before , that too with its beautiful feathers !

We live in place slightly near to bushy areas , where , with many other animals , monkeys and peocock also live . And many times they come and roam in our locality ( quite peaceful cohabitation – I must say ! ) .

So in this way , sometimes we see these animals around us . On one such day , in the morning , when I just got up from bed and was making tea—suddenly I saw a peacock on the roof next to our house . I was so much interested to study the animal that I stood beside the window to have a look at it . That day the sky was slightly cloudy and the sun was still not there in the sky . The atmosphere was quite pleasant. Suddenly the peacock started to arrange its feather and gradually it was in its full splendour !

Such an excellent scene ! I won’t be able to describe it . Since I have heard and read sooo much about it , but in its original state it seemed very different from all those descriptions . let me share my experiences --

The first thing I noticed was that -- Peacock has an element of rustic-ness in it , it belongs to the jungles . What I felt is that - if a picture of this bird is drawn with clean background and clear-cut outlines – the picture will lose its charm Then it won’t represent the real bird , which dwells in the jungle .

Another noticeable thing about it is its colour , it has such magnificent combination of blue, green , yellow and many more light colours as well as their different shades – which get mixed in the feather and together create a MAGIC ( in its true sense ) . the colour of the neck area is also very unique –a blue named after the bird itself—PEACOCK-BLUE .

I was awestruck to see its feather in full grandeur . when a peacock walks ( in its unique slow but twisted style ) with its feathers over its head – it is the real beauty of NATURE . Its shades of colours , its walking , its harsh tone –all add to its whole image . This can only be experienced in a place near to nature , never in any artificial garden or zoo .

So , this was my observation of our national bird . Do let me know your views about it .

With best wishes

SINS AND VICES

Today i am writing about a debatable topic . Till now i have not attempted to write about any moral topic , but today some recent issues compelled me to write about it .

We all know about the idea of any wrong doing , which is called PAAP according to HINDU religion . And my CHRISTIAN friends also know about the SEVEN DEADLY SINS ( lust , gluttony , greed , sloth , wrath , envy , pride ) . Well i don't know about the detail anlysis of all religions but each and every religion does have specific instructions regarding wrong doings ( because any religion actually is a guideline for living peaceful life while experiencing an easy relation with the creator ) . In this way religious instructions help us to check our reactions in each and every situations of life .

Now why am i writing so much about it ? i want to explain 3 incidents ----

1 . I was watching MAHABHARAT series ,. There during the game of dice , the debatable decisions taken by YUDHISTIR were a result of GREED . From extreme frustration , he thought somehow he will manage to win . But we all know the result . In any kind of gamble this is the mental state of a player . This corresponds to the list of sins given above .

2. This one is an ancient story . Parikshit was an wise king but unknowingly he gave permission to the great rakshas KALI to dwell in GOLD . Now KALI started to dominate the king through the king's-crown (which was made of gold ) . With this influence the wise king PARIKSHIT lost his sense of judgement and insulted a sage bacuse of a very minor mistake . He became a slave of the great sin WRATH ( also in the list above ) . As he was under WRATH 's influence , he took a wrong decision .

3 . Now the last one --SHINEY AHUJA . Actually this is the reason why i took up this topic today . As i heard the charge against him , i felt really sad . He had a good image in my mind , i was a great fan of him . But i guess he was driven by LUST ( again refering to the list above ) . Though the case is going on , but one thing is sure --everything is not fine in his place , otherwise the topic would never have appeared .

What i realised from these incidents is that --no one is above theses SINS . Once we give them green signal ( many times unknowingly or by not being conscious enough ) , they are capable to ruin our life . So we have to take care of each step . We have to be aware of each and every decision taken by us otherwise our life can become a mirror of any of these incidents .

I LOVE CRICKET TOO ...

OK , last time i have written about my love for football . Today i will write about the importance of cricket in my life .

Like football , also cricket has always been followed in our house by my grandfather and my dad . So naturally, i started to take interest in the game from a very young age .

This game is known for its association with the CLASS ( quite different from the 'MASS assotiation' i. e. bodily contact of football ) . In cricket , the players are so smart , and the game has a soothing power in it ( because of the time alloted for fielding and for the bowler to walk back , and above all the break between 2 overs ) . I mean it is so different from fast- pace of football , where the game changes in every moment , it keeps you glued with your seat . Here i have not planned to compare the two games , but my last post was about football , so those points are still there in my mind .

I had some favourite players in cricket too --SACHIN TENDULKAR , ANIL KUMBLE , SOURAV GANGULY , HANSE CRONJE , JHONTY RHODES , KEPLAR WESSELS , ROSHAN MAHANAMA ...and many more i guess, i cannot remember all the names right now .

10-25 years back i really loved cricket . But when i came to know about the BETTING episode -- from then onwards , i lost my interest in the game . Now a days i watch the game , follow the news in the newspaper/television , but never feel that-much invovement with the game as the same in the past .

Why i took such a long gap to post a new topic here ? Because all these days i was busy with a discussion in my social -networking site . And believe me , that was a serious debate and has been a learning experience for me .

I LOVE FOOTBALL

YES !!! I love football .

I really don't know from when have i felt this interest in the game , but i just enjoy it . Actually my grandfather and my father ( and my younger brother also ) are ardent supporter of this game , so i guess i inherited this trait from my family itself .

OK , i know , traditionally it has been perceived as a man's game . I mean , so many players fighting for a single ball - does it really make sense ? I don't know .

All i know is - i just love the excitement , the energy of football . The joy of watching your team scoring a goal - cannot be compared to anything . I know i am not a great authority on football - many times i am not correct about the decision about free kick or an off-side . I watch it for the sheer joy of the game .

There is another reason as well . I have some favourite players and teams . So when they play i have an added interest . Come on , we , the women , also have the right to watch handsome , talented players , with athletic body . Yes i like that too .

I love ITALY , I always support it during the world cup . I have many favourite players like ROBERTO BAGGIO , PAOLO MALDINI i , FRANCO BARESI , F CANNAVARO and many more . I love nearly all the players of this team (during each WORLD CUP ) . I must say they are quite beautiful lot .

The next team i love is ARGENTINA , from the time of MARADONA , i have loved this side . Now i support this team after ITALY .

I really don't understand the beauty of the game , so i am unable to appreciate BRAZIL , i am really sorry for that . But i hear so much about them that i have respect for BRAZIL .

Besides these teams mentioned above , i watch the games between other teams also , i love the spirit . I have many more favourite players like - C . RONALDO , KAKA and many others .

Besides my parents , my relatives also know about my passion about this game . Sometimes , even my father-in-law calls me to let me know about a match being shown live on tv . I discuss my interests with both my dad and my father in law , they are really sweet to discuss the intricacies of the game , helping me to understand it better .

Above all i love it because of the life-force (the energy ) , each moment the game is alive . I tell you , the enthusiasm and the strength of football is really infectious . I love to experience it again and again .

With best wishes for all ,

IN A HAPPY MOOD

Well , today i am very happy . The reason is that - it had been raining all night . In delhi we get very few showers in any given year . This year was also going in the same way . But since last 2-3 days the weather has shown signs of change . Even 2 days ago also , it had rained during the night . One thing to note here is that in delhi it rains in small areas at a time . It is very uncommon situation to see the whole delhi drenched in rain in the same time ( though sometimes it happens ) . So sometimes my husband would tell me that it had rained in the locality of his office , whereas i have experienced only a cloudy sky here throughout the whole day . I am really relaxed today , finally watching rain from my window .

Another point to remember is - as i am not in a job right now , i am enjoying the rain . But if i had to go anywhere then i think i wouldn't have welcomed rain with such a high spirit . In fact , then i wouldn't have given that much importance to rain so as to write a post on it ... Because i don't love to get wet at all (i am really serious ) .

This weekend i have seen 2 films of one of my favourite martial arts star - Jet li . The films are ROMEO MUST DIE and ROUGE ASSASSIN . I enjoyed both the films .

With this good mood i am finishing my post today . Do let me know your views about rain and getting wet .

With best wishes

NO SPECIFIC TOPIC OR ROUTINED LIFE

What actually does this heading mean ??? Is it one heading or two ???

I don't know myself .

Right now , I don't have anything to write about . Mainly because i am feeling a bit low since last 2-3 days . So i am slightly irregular in blog-posts these days .

The reason -- : Actually i have wrote here previously that i love a routined life . But for some reason or other since last few days i could not follow my routine , which helps you to do many things in a given time .

Because a routine assigns some specific time , so you become engrossed and try to complete the given work . Simultaneously you don't worry about other works because they are alredy in your day's list . Thus routine enhances productivity . At least according to my point of view .

But ok , routine-bound life can become boring . I agree to it . But to me (having a practical outlook ) to survive in this world you need to work . And to complete work on time you need to follow a plan . If you feel monotonous , give yourself a break . I often do it . Let not your intellect but your mind decide what to do and don't force it to do anything particular . It will choose something relaxing . And this will give you pleasure . This rest period can go on for a couple of days also , when you take life a bit easily . So this is my mantra for utilising TIME in a proper way .

Coming back to the original topic --: Becuase i can't follow the routine these days , i am feeling sad . This sentence is so childish !!!!! Why actually do we think that everything in our daily life will follow a pattern ? You know when i started writing this post i was not sure about the composition of my topic . Now i think it is quite clear to me .

The lesson --: I am realising that it is important to use the time . But if a reason (like power-cut , guests etc ) prevents you from following the schedule , then just accept it . Move on and do the next chore . Otherwise while you are sad and think about the previous work which was not done , the time for next work will also be lost .

Do let me know your views on this topic .

SUNSHINE

Today i am going to write about one of my most favourite topic - SUNSHINE . Well , how to start the topic ? I really don't remember when i first started to love SUNSHINE , but i think it was from my teenage days. By looking at sunshine i always felt warm and joyful . Why ? I don't know . From my childhood i have never been an early-riser . But after i used to get up from bed i made it a point to open the windows (to their widest angles) to let the rays of the sun come into my house as much as possible .
After my marriage , i gradually changed my habit and started rising early . I just loved to see the sunrise . Usually the sun used to emerge behind the flat in front of our house . (Come on , we all live in a city which are full of multistoried buildings ; the sun always does not have an option to rise in a beautiful valley ...) . But there was a problem ; as i was doing a job - i could not enjoy the quite and serene nature . I had to hurry - to get ready , to make breakfast and to start my day . But still i used to look at the sun often .Then throughout the whole day i kept looking at the nature(outside world ) from the windows of my class .I always feel good to see the DAY , if i can say so.
Now when i am at home , i have the whole time left to myself . I get up early , and go to the kitchen or balcony . I can watch the sunrise everyday while making tea for me and my husband . As the DAY starts , it makes my day . I really don't know why is it so , but it is a fact .

In fact i can bear summer a lot more than winter . Many people around me get fed -up with sun and summer , but i don't feel like that . I love sun and sunshine . And in the winter i really feel the absence of sunshine ( and its heat also ) . It always lifts my mood .Even when i come out of any ac office / showroom /storeroom to an open place in the daylight - i feel bissful in its true sense .

After reading this long story , I think all of you have got an idea why SUNSHINE ON MY SHOULDERS by JOHN DENVER is one of my favourite songs . Specially these lines --

Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy
Sunshine in my eyes can make me cry
Sunshine on the water looks so lovely
Sunshine almost always makes me high

If i had a day that i could give you
I'd give to you a day just like today

If i had a wish that i could wish for you
I would make a wish for the sunshine all the while.

with warm wishes for you all

WHAT AM I DOING ?

Yes that is a tough question for me . After coming back from my hometown i haven't yet started my regular/pending routined chores . Why ? I don't know . I am like that . Sometimes i just let myself go in whatever direction it (my mind ) wishes to take . Which means facing its consequences also !!! for instance , if i don't do the dusting regularly - we have to live in a slightly dirty home ; if i don't wash my clothes -then next time i have to wash double number of clothes....like that . I know everything , but still i am not feeling any urge to go and start my daily routine . Now a days i am doing only minimum amount of work which is needed to run a house smoothly.

Now why is it so ? (i.e. -what is the reason behind my this unique attitude?) There are 2 reasons , but one is related to the other .OK , No more of this playing with words . Actually since i wrote my last entry in this blog , i have been reading about MAHABHARAT and LORD KRISHNA . You may ask why have i suddenly started to read about these topics . The reason is , recently i was watching B.R. CHOPRA's MAHABHARAT on the television . Though i have watched the it before but i love this particular series . Gradually i stared an interest to know more about the stories , the characters - so i started to search the net to read more about it (the clashes , the lessons and so on ) .

The story regarding my interest in LORD KRISHNA is somewhat same but there is slight difference also . I REALLY loved the character of KRISHNA (who can forget NITISH BHARADWAJ ? ) when i watched the series , but recently i heard a number of talks about LORD KRISHNA . I was really surprised to find out so many special qualities in such a known character . It is becoming too overwhelming for me to express , but somehow i was awestruck by the symbolisms of LORD KRISHNA . From then on i am reading about HIM .

Now i guess you got an idea what am i doing all these days . May be i will start a blog on MAHABHARAT and LORD KRISHNA . I have not decided yet . Today i am becoming too much subjective while writing the blog . I hope you'll understand my present state of mind .

Now it is raining in delhi after a long time . I am going to watch the rain from my window. So it is bye for now .

With best wishes

REACHED ...

Yes , i have reached my hometown. This time i came here after one and a half years . I am really a HAPPY SOUL right now .

I have my childhood memories here , i am remembering my growing up years , my school - college - university --- YES , this is the city i can identify with . I am meeting my family , friends and relatives . I really don't have much time left to blog . So these days i am a bit irregular in my blog post . This is a time to reconnect with my past - i am cherishing every moment of it. Also i am enjoying visiting various places and eating traditional bengali food.

Best wishes to you all from a happy soul ,

BIRTHDAY

Recently i celebrated my birthday (as you already know from my profile that i am a taurean ) . Anyway , it was not a grand celebration , like the present trend of BIRTHDAY PARTIES . But i enjoyed the whole day.I recieved many calls throughout the whole day - from my parents , in laws , relatives and friends . And i was also wished in my social networking sites !!! Those were real surprise to me .

I made cake in my microwave oven - though due to lack of practice , it became a bit hard inside . but my husband decorated it with sweet cream on the top .

Some close relatives came to our house in the evening. For dinner i made chicken ( not the oily and spicy one , rather it was simple chicken curry ) .

I enjoyed the day. Without any lavishness or extravagant events , i enjoyed every bit of it.It was a peaceful day . I felt a completeness in me. At the end of the day- I was full of good and encouraging spirit in me.I think that was the most important realisation for me. Birthdays give us a chance to reconnect with our origin , to cherish our childhood memories and to remember those who helped us to grow up (teaching us with love and caring ) . It is upto us whether we carry the tradition in us or submerge ourselves completely in this ever changing-fast pacing world .

With best wishes ,

LAAGA CHUNRI MEIN DAAG--THE FILM

Yesterday i watched LAAGA CHUNRI MEIN DAAG- a film by yash raj productions.Though this film was not successful in the box office, but i loved it.To be very frank- i love yash raj films. They have traditional values , romantic stories , beautiful locations , nice actors , powerful dialogues and good music .

Now a days indian film industry is going through such a rapid change that films like LCMD may seem a bit cliche regarding storyline.Yeah , i agree to that . But i loved the simple story , acting of all the casts , direction , songs and the screenplay also. Talking about the cast - RANI , KONKONA ,ABHISHEK , JAYA BACHCHAN , and ANUPAM KHER -I LOVE TO SEE THEM ON SCREEN.Not to forget -TINU ANAD , SUSHANT SINGH and KUNAL KAPOOR.The film is a story of struggle and triumph , it contains some memorable moments - specially by jaya bachchan.

WOW ! WOW ! WOW ! For how long will i keep on talking about this film? You must be getting bored reading it.I will write more about YRF in my future blogs.now , lets change the topic.I am also following IPL these days and supporting KKR because of SRK and KOLKATA.Yesterday they have won the match wih duckworth-lewis rules , but i would be happier if they have won the match in the proper way (after the whole 40 over game ) . Anyway,it is already a matter of the past. And we should always live in the PRESENT MOMENT.So at this very moment i am going to have my lunch.Do let me know how you felt about the film or the match .

With best wishes
